Lucia Patrono is a composer, sound designer, and audio practitioner specializing in immersive scoring for visual media and video games. She holds a Bachelor’s in Electronic Music from the “E.R. Duni” Conservatory in Matera under Fabrizio Festa, a Master’s in Applied Music under Sandro Di Stefano, and a second Master’s in Film, TV, and Game Scoring in Lecce with IMDb composer Francesco De Donatis.
In 2021, she expanded into game audio during a Los Angeles internship at Mad Wave Audio with composer Joe Kataldo. She continuously sharpens her scoring techniques through masterclasses with industry figures like Danny Elfman, John Debney, and John Powell.
Her diverse portfolio spans international TV themes (Ricomincia da Dio, 2022), mobile gaming (Merge & Puzzle, 2023), and scientific soundscapes for the 2024 XPRIZE Rainforest Competition with ETH BiodivX. In 2026, she composed the soundtrack for Emanuele S. Granata’s short film Il tempo del pomodoro — later releasing its standalone suite, Ancora un momento con te — and scored Kaijudores for the Global Game Jam, subsequently joining the indie production studio K.T.M. Studio to develop the full title.
Bridging sound and visual environments, Lucia leverages Unreal Engine 5 and Blender to craft integrated audiovisual experiences. Her project Orizzonte del suono highlights this synthesis: a sci-fi cinematic combining custom 3D assets, dynamic lighting, and spatial camera work built around a dark cosmic aesthetic inspired by event horizons.
Now based in Rome, Lucia composes, orchestrates, and designs audio for screen and games while teaching privately, delivering emotionally resonant soundscapes that elevate narrative storytelling.
